What is Mahoodle?

Why not integrate your Mahara with a popular virtual learning environment?

A virtual learning environment is used by educators and trainers to provide learning materials to students, and boasts a vast range of features supporting online course creation, grading, student-trainer communication and student monitoring.

At TDM we advocate the use of the popular open source platform Moodle. Mahara integrates with Moodle to create the Mahoodle platform.

We provide both Mahara courses and courses for your virtual learning environment. Below are listed the VLE courses that we offer which are specifically tailored to the Moodle platform.

An interactive programme to teach online tutors to use their VLE (e.g Moodle)...

In this programme, you will go through the learning experience as a learner and see how the different features of Moodle work. You will be given tasks and assignments to complete. We use loop input to teach you online tutor skills.

Designing e-Learning
 6 weeks (5 hrs per week)

How to create online courses with your VLE (e.g Moodle)...

In this programme you will be guided step by step through the creation of your own course. You will work with peers on different aspects of course creation.
